At Greenshops. we realize the importance to have an in depth understanding of each products environmental impact. We work closely with each manufacturer to fully understand the products cradle to cradle effect. Therefore we have put together a list of 13 environmental benefits to assist you with each product. Energy Saving

Using this product will cut down on the amount of energy we use in our everyday life.

Recyclable and/or Recyclable Packaging

The materials used in this product can be recycled at the end of its use or is made from recycled materials.

Biodegradable

The materials in this product are capable of being broken down quickly at the end of its use.

Sustainable Sources

The materials used in this product come from sources that are easily planted, replenished and grow naturally. When something is sustainable it is replenishable within a human lifetime and causes no long-term damage to the environment.

Re-usable

At the end of its life, this product can be re-used, re-filled or serve another purpose.

Low Carbon Footprint

Through its process it does not produce a large amount of CO2. This product may be manufactured in the United States or does not have to travel far during the manufacturing process. Many products that are considered to have a low carbon footprint, the manufacturers purchase carbon offsets to create a zero carbon footprint or use solar and/or wind energy during the manufacturing process.

Organic

This product is produced without the use of chemicals and has been verified by a third party source.

Fair Labor

Producers of this product have not been exploited, and are treated fairly. They are provided good wages and a great working environment.

Water Saving

Use of this product saves water.

BPA Free

Does not contain Bisphenol A, the hormone-disrupting chemical considered to be potentially harmful to human health and the environment.
